Wire Side or Dining Chair - White
Artist, sculptor, jewellery maker and modern furniture designer Harry Bertoia designed the original wire side or dining chair in 1952 after experimenting with sculpting metal rods. Our wire dining chair is inspired by Bertoia's original designs and has a gridded form that allows the user or viewer to literally see through the chair. Bertoia's described this form, saying "If you look at these modern dining chairs, they are mainly made of air, like sculpture. Space passes right through them." The cushioned seat pads come with your own choice of French fabric from "ici et la". Other fabric designs and Dulux powder coat colours are available upon request.
