Artist, sculptor, jewellery maker and contemporary furniture designer Harry Bertoia designed the original wire diamond lounge chair in 1952. The Diamond Harry Bertoia Chair is as popular as ever due to it's eye-catching memorable design and wide, comfortable seat.

In Bertoia's own words, "If you look at these contemporary lounge chairs, they are mainly made of air, like sculpture. Space passes right through them."
