This Italian leather day bed is inspired by the original day bed designed for the apartment of Philip Johnson in New York, and first publicly exhibited in 1929 at the Berlin Exhibition. Our Mies Day Bed, is a high quality reproduction. Each square of Italian leather is hand selected, piped, tufted and individually sewn by expert leather craftsmen. Available in a range of leather colours; including Black, Brown, White, Red or Cream. The cushion is suspended upon a network of leather saddle straps fixed to a solid hardwood frame. Polished high grade stainless steel legs add to the timeless modern furniture design. The Mies van Der Rohe "Barcelona" Day Bed is an ideal addition to your family room or office environment.
