Lem Stainless Steel Bar Stools
Originally named product of the year at the 2000 International Interior Design Awards, the original "LEM Piston Stool" is a well-loved modern bar stool due to it's combination of both style and functionality. Designed by Shin and Tomoko Azumi, this contemporary bar stool's design displays an understanding of the need for bar furniture to be comfortable as well as aesthetically pleasing. This understanding is articulated in the manner in which the seat is formed; the steel edging meets seamlessly with the seat to create a smooth plane to sit upon. This decision results in not only a look of fluidity but makes for a more comfortable seat, meaning the sitter is likely to feel more at ease for a longer period time; a crucial factor in the hospitality industry. This durable, stylish and modern looking bar stool is perfect for a bar, or inner city but will work equally well for a modern home. A top grade inspired reproduction of the original design; that not only allows for a 360 degree swivel, but also easily adjusts from a counter height to a bar height with a lever that activates a hydraulic cylinder. This LEM Stool is built to commercial grade quality and is suited for both commercial and residential environments, this contemporary bar stool is also available in chrome.
