When designing the original, his goal was to design a collection to "clear up the slum of legs in the U.S. home." This white dining table became an immediate classic upon it's introduction in 1956. This inspired commercial grade reproduction Tulip white dining table features a solid genuine Italian marble top and cast aluminium base.
