Designed with budget in mind and first publicly shown in the mid 1950s, the DAW was entered for a competition at the Museum of Modern Art in New York in the low-cost furniture design category. Our replica DAW (which stands for Dining Arm Chair Wood) carries the familiar shape of the original, with its moulded fiberglass seat and iconic wooden splayed legs. Our replica DAW dining chair is available in a number of colours, finishes and wood choices.

Available in a range of colours, either gloss red, gloss white, gloss black, matt white, matt black and with either solid American maple or American walnut legs. The metal cross beams that add extra support to the legs are also available in stainless steel or black powder coated steel which was present on the original DAW.
